How is concrete made to look colored and textured?
The concrete comes from a local supplier and color may be added while the material is mixed in the truck or applied on the surface. Special mats are laid on the concrete as it sets to give the desired texture. A special finish coat is applied to help protect your decorative concrete
What is curved metal
roofing?
Curved metal is specially designed to shape to your
Quonset or curved roof shop. The pieces overlap
and have a weather stripping-type seal applied before they are screwed to the
roof deck.
All old roofing material is removed before the metal
is installed.
Metal Roofing is:
Durable- The best choice for high-wind and heavy snowfall areas, metal can shed snow quickly, withstand gale-force winds, resist water that can lead to freezing and cracking and is not susceptible to sun damage fore or erosion.
Made to Last- Metal roofing has a long lifespan and is typically guaranteed for 45-50 years or more. According to the Metal Roofing Alliance, this is about 2-3 times longer than the average lifespan of a shingled roof.
Environmentally Friendly - Due to its long life, metal creates very little wast and when it is time to replace the panes, they are highly recyclable.
Cost effective- The price of metal roofing is very competitive with shingles, but when factoring in the benefits and life expectancy, is ultimately a much better valuer.
Noisy- Noise levels are similar to those
of shingled buildings.
Heavy- Metal is relatively lightweight yet
less likely to cave-in under heavy snowfall.
Susceptible – Metal is more resistant to
rotting, cracking, wind damage, insects or fire,
Replacing your shingle roofing with
metal is a wise investment for the future of your home, Quonset or barn. Take advantage of all the benefits of metal
and ensure the integrity of your structure for years to come.
